Ukrainian Danyil Boldyrev won “gold” at the Climbing World Championships in Russia.

Danyil Boldyrev won the discipline “speed”.

This is the second world title in his career of Ukrainian athlete. The first he won at the world championship in 2014. There he set a world record.

At the previous championship in 2019, Boldyrev took fourth place. In total, that is the 22nd medal of Ukraine in the whole history of participation in the world championships and the 11th “gold”.

It is reported that the speed climbing will debut in the Olympic Games program at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Danyil Boldyrev announced that he wants to participate in these competitions.

To remind, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the title “Hero of Ukraine” to Ukrainian swimmer Maksym Krypak, who became the most titled athlete at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
