Ukraine will strengthen protection of the state border with Belarus.

This was announced at a briefing by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrsky, UA informs.

Thus, Ukraine is preparing for scenarios that are taking place on the Polish-Belarusian border.

The most vulnerable areas on the border with Belarus are currently identified.

According to the minister, the border will be strengthened by the National Guard and police. The number of border guards will double.

“Territorial defense units will also be involved in the protection of the state border to conduct training on the interaction of these units. The number of border guards will double, mobile groups will operate along the state border to detect illegal crossings” – Monastyrsky said.
