The U.S. could close the sky over Ukraine in the event of a repeated Russian attack. President Donald Trump stated this during a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the NATO summit in Ankara on July 8, UATV English reports.
At the same time, the U.S. president stressed that an agreement to end the war must be reached first. According to him, once an agreement is signed, the parties will have certain security guarantees. Trump also noted that the main task would be ensuring these agreements are fulfilled.
As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with White House chief Donald Trump on July 8.
During the joint press conference with the Ukrainian leader, the U.S. president stated that Ukraine will receive a license to produce missiles for Patriot systems.
