Ukraine’s Ombudswoman Liudmyla Denisova visited Mikheil Saakashvili, a citizen of Ukraine and chairman of the executive committee of the National Reform Council of Ukraine, who is kept at the №12 penitentiary in Rustavi, Georgia.
UA reports this with reference to the Facebook page of Liudmyla Denisova.
“In the yard of the colony the ER team is on duty and has the capacity to administer a blood infusion if it becomes necessary or heart massage. If his vital organs need reviving, today is the 27th day of the hunger strike and it can be necessary, they cannot perform it” – the ombudswoman said.
She also added that Saakashvili considers himself a prisoner of Putin. He most of all does not want to harm Ukraine or allow any bloodshed in Georgia.
To remind, President of Georgia in 2004-2013 and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the National Council of Reforms of Ukraine Mikheil Saakashvili was detained on October 1, 2021 in Tbilisi. On this day, he arrived there to support opposition in the upcoming municipal elections.
