Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrsky, Head of the State Border Guard Service Serhiy Deyneka, Head of the National Police Ihor Klymenko and Deputy Commander of the National Guard Yuriy Lebid flew to the Volyn region to work out actions to protect against a possible attempt to break through the Ukrainian border by artificially organized crowds of migrants, as well as to counter other hybrid threats.

This is reported by UA with reference to the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As part of a working trip to the Grabove border unit of the Lutsk Border Detachment, training will be conducted for combat coordination between all subordinate structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs: State Border Guard Service, National Police, National Guard of Ukraine, State Emergency Service and Migration Service.

“In order to counter the potential crisis with migrants, we will involve all five structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs without exception, as the only fist of Ukraine’s internal security” – Monastyrsky said.

There will also be a meeting with the leaders of the United Territorial Communities, which are located along the border, together with the leadership of the region and law enforcement agencies on cooperation in case of threat to the Ukrainian border.

To remind, Germany proposes to place migrants from Belarus in Ukraine.
