36 UN member states accused Russia of spreading fakes about Ukraine.
This is stated in their joint statement, UA reports citing Ukrinform.
The Russian Federation organized an anti-Nazi event at the UN Security Council and blamed the Baltic states and Ukraine. The signatories to the statement called them “cynical and unfounded.”
The document called on Russia to end the hostile disinformation campaign against Ukraine, reduce tensions and immediately withdraw the forces and equipment stationed in the country without Ukraine’s consent.
Also it was recalled that the UN Charter prohibits the use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state.
