Sytnyk and G7 ambassadors discussed National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine progress in fighting corruption

The ambassadors of the Group of Seven countries discussed with the director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau Artem Sytnyk the progress in the fight against corruption in Ukraine.

This was reported by UA with reference to Twitter G7.

The ambassadors reaffirmed their strong commitment to supporting the independence of NABU and other anti-corruption institutions in Ukraine.

In addition, they stressed that the process of selecting a new director should be transparent, competitive and conducted within such timeframes as possible to avoid the absence of a director.

“The delay in electing a new special anti-corruption prosecutor should not be repeated” the Group of Seven ambassadors said.
