It is expected that seven ships with coal will arrive in Ukraine by the end of this place or at the beginning of the next, so there will be no problems with the heating season.

According to him, by the end of this month or at the beginning of next month there will be coal in Ukraine.

“And, in principle, we will reach the standard parameters, but even now we have enough of the capacity that Ukraine has. Our base is provided by nuclear generation, which operates at a higher capacity than in the previous autumn-winter periods. We have our hydro generation, wind generation works. Solar even now gives its particle. The CHPs operating at the Kyiv power plant are gas-fired, but these are technological issues. That is, in principle, now Ukraine’s energy system is balanced and fully supplied with electricity” – Shmyhal said.

According to the Prime Minister, the cases when the lights are turned off for an hour or two somewhere in some settlements are the working moments of repairs.

“This is planned, so the relevant information is available on the website of the Ministry of Energy. There, for each day, each regional power company submits a plan of repairs that take place in certain settlements. You can get acquainted with this in advance” – the head of government stressed.
