The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Ukraine recommends refraining from traveling to South Africa, Botswana, Esvatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia and Zimbabwe due to the spread of the new coronavirus strain Omicron.

This was reported by UA with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Ukrainians who are currently in these countries must strictly adhere to anti-epidemic requirements, immediately contact local medical institutions in case of symptoms, be prepared for additional quarantine restrictions upon arrival in Ukraine” – the statement said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also advised citizens to monitor changes in anti-epidemic measures due to the spread of a new strain of Omicron.
