By December 10, the President will submit to the Verkhovna Rada a bill on the economic passport of Ukrainians

For the first time in the history of Ukraine’s independence, a bill on the economic passport of a Ukrainian will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada.

The president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy told about it in parliament at annual speech about internal and external situation of the country, UA reports.

According to the head of state, on November 30, the Verkhovna Rada passed the so-called resource bill №5600. It concerns amendments to the Tax Code.

“We voted for the tax law №5600, which increases the rent for the use of natural resources. Therefore, by December 10, I will submit a bill on the economic passport of Ukrainians. According to him, all these funds, the fee for the use of Ukrainian subsoil, will be accumulated in the personal accounts of children of citizens of Ukraine” – said Vladimir Zelensky.

This money can be used after reaching the age of majority for education in Ukraine.

To remind, large-scale presidential program on energy modernization will start in Ukraine next year.
