A ship with Australian coal arrived in Ukraine

On December 5, at 3:30 p.m., a Panamax-class ship with 75,000 tons of Australian coal entered the Odessa port of Pivdenny.

UA reports this with reference to the website of the ‘Tsentrenergo’ company.

After passing customs operations, the ship will be unloaded. Then the coal will be delivered to the power plants to replenish warehouses and guarantee uninterrupted operation during the heating season of 2021-2022.

Two more deliveries are expected soon. The next batch of coal will arrive in Ukraine on December 15, 2021. It is of Australian origin. It is planned that in late December 2021 – early January 2022 a ship with coal from Colombia will arrive in Ukraine as well. The volume of each batch will make from 70,000 to 80,000 tons. The total volume of deliveries will make from 210,000 to 220,000 tons.

To remind, at the end of November, a ship with 60,500 tons of American coal arrived in Ukraine.
