A book about events in eastern Ukraine was presented in Hungary (PHOTOS)

Presentation of a book by Hungarian journalist Ildiko Eperesi and Ukrainian reporter Oleksandr Kachura, “A Book on Fates from the Front / Excerpts from the War”, took place in a minority house in Szeged, Hungary. The publication goes about the events in eastern Ukraine since the beginning of Russian aggression.

“Presentation of the book published in Hungarian in November 2019 by the Hungarian publication house Kossuth Kiadó, was organized for the second time by the Szeged Self-Government of Ukrainians with the assistance of the Embassy and Honorary Consulate General of Ukraine in Szeged and the Cultural Society of Ukrainians in Csongrád-Chonad. It is a part of a series of presentations that have already taken place in Budapest, Veszprém, Pecs, Nyíregyháza and Debrecen since November 2019” – the statement reads.

In addition to the authors of the book I. Eperesi and O. Kachura, who sent a video message, the head of the self-government of Ukrainians in Szeged Natalia Saitos-Zapotochna, associate professor of the Institute of Slavic Studies of Szeged University Dr. Csaba Sarnay (moderator) and Counselor of the Embassy of Ukraine in Hungary Ivan Lukachuk took part in the discussion.
