4 states asked for help in evacuation of citizens from Afghanistan – Kuleba

About 200 Ukrainians are asking to evacuate them from Afghanistan. Representatives of four countries also appealed to Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry to help remove their citizens from the country.

This was announced by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, UA reports

“Someone, for example, did not declare himself for two weeks. And now he appeared. Someone said and then flew another flight because there was such an opportunity. This figure is floating, but no one will be thrown at random” – Dmytro Kuleba said.

The Foreign Minister also said that representatives of four countries had asked the Foreign Ministry to help take their citizens out of Afghanistan. Ukraine has already evacuated 700 people from the country on six planes.

To will remind, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Olegh Nikolenko said that Ukraine plans to continue evacuation of Ukrainians from Afghanistan after August 31. The return routes of our citizens may be adjusted depending on the development of the situation at Kabul airport.
