Council of Europe Secretary General Alain Berset responded to the killing of a correspondent and cameraman from Ukraine’s international broadcasting channel by a Russian drone in Kramatorsk on October 23.
“We are shocked and saddened by the killing in Kramatorsk of journalist Olena Hramova (Hubanova) and cameraman Yevhen Karmazin. We honor their courage and once again reaffirm our commitment to truth, justice, and freedom of the press,” Berset wrote on the social network X.
As reported earlier, on October 23, a film crew from Ukraine’s international broadcasting channel came under attack by a Russian Lancet drone in Kramatorsk.
