President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Austria Karl Nehammer as part of the Eastern Partnership Summit.
UA reports this with reference to the Office of the President.
The head of state congratulated Karl Nehammer on the appointment to a high position.
Austria confidently ranks sixth among the largest investors in the economy of our state. The 63% growth in bilateral trade over the past nine months indicates a high potential for further development.
“Some of our agreements are already being implemented, since Austrian business recognizes the positive effect of internal reforms in Ukraine and opens up new prospects in our market” – Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
President expressed hope that Austria would fix the European perspective of Ukraine in a joint declaration.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Austria for the continued support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country and praised the participation of the Austria in the founding summit of the Crimean Platform.
