US should strengthen its presence in Ukraine – President

Ukraine is now a priority country for the United States. This is a big signal, but after it Ukraine expects action.

This opinion was expressed by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with CNN, UA writes.

The President noted that during a meeting with his American counterpart Joe Biden, he discussed, in particular, the US presence in Ukraine.

According to Zelenskyy, he told President Biden: what does it mean to leave Ukraine? He believes that should be the opposite – the United States should increase its presence in Ukraine.

He added that they had a powerful summit. Kyiv was very much looking forward to this meeting. And in fact, Ukraine was at the top of the list of countries with which President Biden was supposed to meet.

“This means that Ukraine is a priority for the United States, and we are grateful for that. This is a great signal. But behind this signal, we expect action” – Zelenskyy noted.
