Dutch Defense Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius is calling for ramped-up production of air defense ammunition to help Ukraine fend off Russian ballistic missile attacks.
She made the appeal on X, according to UATV English.
“Almost daily we see the destruction of ballistic missiles in Ukraine. We must, among other things, work with Dutch companies to ensure that we produce enough ammunition. Good for Ukraine, good for the Netherlands. With allies, we pool our strengths. Strong initiative by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy,” she wrote.
As previously reported, Ukraine and nine partner nations have formed the Anti-Ballistic Missile Coalition aimed at bolstering defenses against ballistic missile threats.
