US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin will visit Ukraine next week.
Pentagon press secretary John Kirby announced this at a briefing, Ukrinform informs.
“The minister and his team are preparing for a visit to Europe next week. Among the stops are Georgia, Ukraine and Romania” – he said.
Kirby added that the outcome of the US Secretary of Defense’s European tour will be his meetings with allies and partners in Brussels at the NATO ministerial meeting.
The Pentagon will officially announce the details of the tour later.
To remind, the 23rd Ukraine-European Union Summit has held in Kyiv.
