Another family who was in closed camps in northeastern Syria returned to Ukraine.

UA informs this citing the Office of the President.

Ukrainian officials – Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Roman Mashovets, Defense Minister Andryi Taran and First Deputy Foreign Minister Emine Dzhaparova – met the plane with the evacuated woman and seven children on June 16 at the Kyiv International airport.

Deputy Head of the Office of President noted that, on the instructions of the President, those released will be provided with the necessary medical care, and the state will do everything to help the family return to normal life in Ukraine.

Roman Mashovets also expressed his conviction that this is not the last release of Ukrainian citizens from Syrian camps.

He recalled that on the New Year’s Eve, two women and seven children were returned to Ukraine from Syria, where they stayed in difficult conditions.

Emine Dzhaparova noted that 15 Ukrainians had already been released from the camps in Syria.
