Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, who is on a state visit to Ukraine.

The solemn ceremony of the meeting took place on the square near the Mariinskyi Palace.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the anthems of the two countries were played, after which the presidents inspected the ranks of the soldiers of the honor guard of Ukraine.
The presidents also greeted the two countries’ official delegations and went to the talks in a closed format from the media.
Statements by Zelenskyy and Herzog for the press are scheduled for 2.45 PM.
To remind, during a state visit to Ukraine, the President of Israel will speak at events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy, meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. He will also address the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and meet with representatives of the Ukrainian Jewish community.
