Ukraine Ready for the 2018 Paralympics

On March 9, the XII Paralympic Winter Games will open in South Korea’s Pyeongchang, and Ukraine will also be there – its sixth participation.

According to 24 channel, the Ukrainian national team will send 33 athletes, 10 of which are the so-called “leaders,” who accompany athletes with poor eyesight on the ski track during events.

Ukrainian athletes will compete in three different sports: cross-country skiing, biathlon, and Alpine-skiing.

The solemn send-off ceremony of the Ukrainian national Paralympics team to South Korea will be held on February 28, in Kyiv.

The 2018 Winter Paralympics will last for 10 days, from March 9 to March 18, in Pyeongchang, South Korea. And on February 25, took place the closing ceremony of the 2018 Winter Olympics.
