Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania are at the forefront of deterring Russia – President

Today, Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania are at the forefront of deterring the Russian Federation. It is all about protecting Europe from the Kremlin’s aggressive policies.

This was stated at a briefing by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy following a meeting with the Presidents of Poland and Lithuania, Andrzej Duda and Gitanas Nauseda, UA reports.

“Today we have coordinated steps to support our European and Euro-Atlantic integration in 2022. Our common task is to contain the threat, the threat from Russia, to protect Europe from Russia’s aggressive policy. Today, Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania are at the forefront of this deterrence. Like no other, we understand how urgent the need to consolidate efforts is” – the President of Ukraine stressed.

On December 20, meeting of the Lublin Triangle involving Presidents of Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania was held at the Synehora State Residence in Huta of Ivano-Frankivsk region.
