The United States has announced USD 25 million for an initiative to expand countries’ access to safe nuclear energy.

This is reported by UA with reference to the State Department of the USA.

“As part of the Nuclear Futures Package, the United States is pleased to partner with Poland, Kenya, Ukraine, Brazil, Romania, and Indonesia, among others, to support progress on meeting their nuclear energy goals.  Efforts include capacity building, equipment, feasibility and siting studies, demonstration projects, study tours, site visits, technical collaboration, and more” – is written in the statement of the State Department.

It is noted that the package confirms the US’s strong commitment to energy and nuclear innovation as an important component of achieving its goals in the fight against global climate change.

To remind, the United States held consultations on the situation on the Russian-Ukrainian border.
