Ukraine is one of the leaders in introducing digital technologies into the system of public services, said Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas. She said this on May 19, during the forum “Ukraine 30. Digitalization”, the correspondent of the UATV informs.

Kallas told about the experience of digitalization in Estonia, which is now considered one of the leaders in this sphere. For example, Estonians can file tax returns online, and this function is used by 97% of the country’s residents. In total, about 5,000 public services are provided online in Estonia.

“There are about 5 000 different e-services in the public and private sectors, including e-voting, e-schools, e-hubs. Using of digital signatures can save a lot of time and money. It is not only easy and convenient, but also quickly and efficiently. And this is how we save the trees”, – Callas said.

In Ukraine, they plan to transfer all public services online until 2023. Estonia has promised to share its experience in implementing public services online.
