The President instructed to deal with Russian artists’ tours: a response to Kondratiuk’s petition

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to a petition by Ukrainian music producer Ihor Kondratiuk to ban touring of Russian musicians, which received 25,000 signatures.

In response to petition №22 / 123500-ep, the President instructed Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danylov and Security Service Chairman Ivan Bakanov to work out a petition to ban concerts by Russian artists.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed to analyze compliance with the law “On touring events in Ukraine” on touring of citizens of the aggressor country.

He clarified that there is already a list of non-entrants who are not allowed to tour in Ukraine. The National Security and Defense Council, the Ministry of Culture, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting are responsible for the list.

Igor Kondratiuk’s petition to ban Russian musicians from touring in Ukraine received 25,000 votes on October 11, 2021.
