President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of the State of Israel Naftali Bennett.

UA reports this with reference to the Office of the President.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted the symbolism of the state visit of Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog to Ukraine in October of 2021, during which the leaders of the states took part in events to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy.

Naftali Bennett thanked President of Ukraine for passing the law on preventing and combating anti-Semitism in Ukraine.

The parties discussed further steps to deepen Ukrainian-Israeli cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The President thanked Naftali Bennett for Israel’s consistent support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, in particular within the UN.
