President Volodymyr Zelenskyy approved the regulation on the new state award “National Legend of Ukraine“, UA reports, citing the Press Service of the President’s Office.
The award is made of gold and has the appearance of a stylized flower, the petals of which are covered with blue and yellow enamel. The size is 45 mm.
Both citizens of Ukraine and foreigners can receive the award.
The President will personally present the “National Legend of Ukraine” on the occasion of Independence Day considering:
● merits in the formation of independent Ukraine, its protection, strengthening of statehood;
● significant contribution to the development of the national economy, science, education, culture, art, sports, healthcare;
● active charitable and social activities.
