During December 2021, the RF Armed Forces command continued to build up the combat capabilities of the operational group of the Russian occupation forces in ORDLO.
This is reported by UA with reference to the website of the Ministry of Defense.
In particular, occupiers secretly imported fuel, military equipment, weapons and ammunition, electronic warfare equipment, unmanned aerial vehicles from the territory of the Russian Federation to formations and units of the 1st (Donetsk) and 2nd (Luhansk) army corps by rail and road transport. Also, they used the so-called “humanitarian convoys” for the covert supply of military property.
At the same time, Russia has significantly increased the number of supplies to formations and units of the occupation forces of armored combat vehicles, both new and restored or modernized at Russian repair enterprises.
In addition, Russian military personnel and mercenaries – Russian citizens – are sent to the enemy’s units to fill positions in certain military specialties, snipers, artillerymen, liaison officers, specialists in electronic reconnaissance and electronic warfare.
The concentration of equipment on the Ukrainian border has increased significantly over the past month. Russia has withdrawn tanks, artillery and air defense systems.
