Today, on September 20, on the basis of the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security, the Ukrainian-American exercises RAPID TRIDENT-2021 will begin. The exercise will be attended by 6,000 troops from 15 partner countries.
This is reported by UA with the reference to Facebook of the Ukrainian Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The Commander of the Training Command of the Ukrainian Ground Forces Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Major General Ihor Palagniuk, together with the head of the Ukrainian-American exercises Rapid Trident-2021, Brigadier General Vladyslav Klochkov, checked the progress of the combat coordination of one of the mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Ground Forces and the readiness to conduct multinational exercises of units of the National Guard of Ukraine, The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Military Law-Enforcement Service” – is written in the message.
The readiness for the exercises of the RAPID TRIDENT-2021 leadership apparatus, the command post of a separate mechanized brigade and the landfill facilities was also checked.
On the basis of the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security, mechanized units, with the support of artillery, worked out tactical actions during the offensive.
The Ukrainian-American military exercises RAPID TRIDENT-2021 will last from September 20 to October 1, 2021. Their main goal is to prepare for joint actions as part of a multinational force during coalition operations.
