Poroshenko was declared a suspicion in treason – media

The fifth president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has been declared a suspect in treason.

This was reported by Interfax, UA writes.

The interlocutor of the agency said that the State Bureau of Investigation informed Poroshenko about the suspicion of treason and aiding and abetting terrorist organizations in the case of a criminal scheme to supply coal from the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass.

“Poroshenko was declared a suspect under Art. 111 of the Criminal Code (treason) and under the article on assistance to a terrorist organization. The report of suspicion was sent to the post office at the place of residence and place of work” – the agency’s interlocutor said.

Oleksandr Turchynov, head of the ‘European Solidarity’ party’s headquarters, confirmed the suspicion at a briefing.
