All the highest ranks are associated with corruption in Russia, and each, depending on his level, receives a certain percentage. A Russian politician and leader of the “Speak Up!” movement said this on the FREEDOM TV channel. Andrei Sidelnikov, commenting on the arrest of Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Timur Ivanov for a bribe.
Sidelnikov noted that Ivanov is no different from any other deputy minister, State Duma deputy, official of the presidential administration and other people in power.
“Honestly, knowing the turnover of these corrupt things inside Russia, especially at the top, talking about 1 million rubles in bribes… These are just such seeds. It’s clear that this is a systemic showdown going on within the system, and the clans that are fighting for influence during Vladimir Putin’s fifth illegal term are today trying to devour each other or push someone aside, because this is a tasty morsel,” he believes.
The politician noted that in the future it will be necessary to look at whoever benefited from Ivanov’s arrest, who ordered it.

Let us remind you that Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Timur Ivanov was arrested by the Basmanny Court of Moscow for two months. The military official was detained on April 23 on suspicion of receiving a bribe in the amount of 1 million rubles. According to investigators, Ivanov entered into a criminal conspiracy with third parties to receive bribes during contract and subcontract work for the needs of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
