Canada, USA, Great Britain – Ukraine’s partners. They help us a lot.
This was stated in an interview with Ukrinform by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov following a visit to Canada for the International Security Forum, UA reports.
According to him, the partners will help Ukraine in the event of a new Russian offensive.
“We are well aware that Canada, as well as the United States and the United Kingdom, are our partners. These countries help us a lot and have a much deeper understanding of the processes that are taking place today. It’s no secret that we share intelligence, so almost everyone understands what’s going on. The only thing that remains unknown is whether Putin will come, and if so, when. However, we must be ready in any case and our partners have assured us that they will help Ukraine as much as possible in case of “X” time – said Danilov.
The Minister also shared his thoughts on the future of the Canadian training mission UNIFIER, whose mandate coincides next year.
“I am more than convinced that the mission will not end. It will continue in the future, but in what format is a question. We have a lot in common with Canada and we should be together” – said the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
To remind, France threatened Russia with serious consequences in the event of an invasion of Ukraine.
