Aircraft of NATO member states intercepted Russian aircraft 290 times approaching the airspace of NATO countries.
UA informs with reference to the Associated Press.
According to NATO in 2021, in response to the actions of Russian aviation, 290 out of 370 missions were carried out. Most of them took place in the Baltic region around Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, where the organization carries out air security.
Interceptions took place without incident.
Earlier in the UK, the Russian Federation was called as one of the most hostile countries.
