More than 122 000 doses of Pfizer vaccine delivered to Ukraine (PHOTO)

On May 18, the second batch of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine arrived in Ukraine. The special flight delivered 122,850 doses, UATV correspondent reports.

The vaccine was provided within the frameworks of global COVAX initiative. According to the Ministry of Health, by the end of the week UNICEF will deliver 473,850 doses of vaccine, as well as a solvent for injections.

378 000 doses will be allocated for the 1st and 2nd doses for 189,000 education workers. Other doses will be allocated for the priority groups of the 1st and 2nd stages of vaccination”, – they explained in the ministry.

Besides, Ukraine has agreed the supply of the additional 10 million doses of Pfizer vaccine.

The first batch of Pfizer vaccine arrived to Ukraine on April 16.
