The buildup of Russian forces near the Ukrainian borders was discussed by the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, and Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov.

The parties expressed their commitment to diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions and pledged to continue close cooperation.
Earlier it was reported that Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with Boris Johnson. The parties discussed the security situation around Ukraine.
