Starting June 4, 2021, new conditions for entering Turkey will be in effect for all foreign citizens due to changes in the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the country.
UATV writes about this referring to the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.
To cross the Turkish border, tourists should present a negative result of a PCR test done no more than 72 hours before crossing the border. Or a quick antigen test done within the past 48 hours.
One doesn’t need to undergo a PCR test or quarantine if there is an official document issued by the state authorities that proves a person has been vaccinated at least 14 days before entering Turkey, or overcame the disease in the period of the past 6 months.
“This means that the cancellation of the need for a PCR test, which was introduced on May 15, 2021 for people arriving to Turkey from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Great Britain, Latvia, Luxembourg, Ukraine and Estonia, is temporarily suspended and will remain suspended until June 3,” – they noted in the Ministry
Earlier, Greece opened its borders for tourists on May 14.
