On August 9 Finland lifted travel restrictions for Ukrainian citizens, previously imposed in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is reported by UA with reference to the website of the Finnish government.

It is noted that the restrictions may change depending on the incidence rates of COVID-19. Entry restrictions have now been lifted for residents of Ukraine arriving in Finland. This decision came into force on August 9.

According to the interactive map on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, starting August 9, passenger traffic between Finland and Ukraine will be normalized.

“All citizens of Ukraine (without exceptions) who arrive in Finland by direct flight from Ukraine, or in transit through the countries that are also included in the “green list” of Finland, will be allowed to enter the country” – the Ukrainian MFA said.

Earlier, Hungary has lifted restrictions on the entry of Ukrainians.
