The European Union and Ukraine summit has been preliminarily set for July 9, Radio Svoboda Brussels reporter, Rikard Jozwiak, said on Twitter.

It is expected that the date will be officially announced within the next week. The summit will be held in Brussels.

Jozwiak also joked that the summit was not blocked by Hungary. In reality, member states cannot block such summits. However, Hungary continues to block the NATO-Ukraine Commission meeting.

The previous EU-Ukraine summit took place in Kyiv in July 2017.

It is worth noting that the NATO summit will also be held in Brussels from July 11 to 12. It is one of the events for which Ukraine has already received an official invitation. However, at this time, it is unknown whether President Petro Poroshenko will stay in Brussels for it.
