Most of the European Union’s new €10 billion military assistance package for Ukraine will be allocated to drone procurement, a European Commission representative told FREEДОМUATV English reports.

According to the official, the planned distribution of the package includes:

  • €6 billion for the procurement of drones;
  • €1.5 billion for missile purchases;
  • €2.5 billion for combat aviation, including the transfer of previously operated Swedish Gripen fighter jets to Ukraine and the procurement of new aircraft.

The package is aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities through expanded supplies of unmanned systems, air defense munitions, and combat aircraft as European partners continue increasing military support.
