The European Union is mobilizing all resources to help Ukraine cope with a massive cyber attack on government websites.

This is reported by UA with reference to Reuters.

“We are going to mobilize all our resources to help Ukraine deal with this cyber attack. Unfortunately, we knew that this could happen” – said Josep Borrell, head of European diplomacy.

In his opinion, the cyberattack on Ukraine is designed to intimidate the population. Borrell said he did not know who was behind the cyberattack but could only speculate. However, without evidence, no one will blame.

To remind, a hacker attack on government sites occurred on the night of January 13-14. The Security Service of Ukraine and the State Service for Special Communications, together with the relevant state authorities, are investigating the incident and collecting digital evidence. It is known that there was no leakage of personal data as a result of a cyber attack.
