Denys Shmyhal and Donald Tusk meet in Warsaw for intergovernmental consultations

On March 28, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and his counterpart Donald Tusk have met within the format of intergovernmental consultations in Warsaw.

Both leaders reported the meeting on their social media.

According to Ukrinform, the meeting will be followed by a plenary session of the Ukrainian and Polish delegations.

Ukrainian and Polish PMs will discuss trade and border issues as well as joint military production.

“We will coordinate our agenda before the joint meeting of the governments. We will discuss arms for Ukraine, the situation on our countries’ borders, trade development and infrastructure. Count on a pragmatic and constructive dialogue and the development of effective solutions,” Ukrainian PM stated on X.

“Without free Ukraine there will be no secure Europe,” Tusk emphasized on supporting Ukraine on X as he welcomed Shmyhal in Warsaw.

During his visit to Warsaw, Shmyhal will also meet with the Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, Malgorzata Kidawa-Błonska.

Previously, Polish Agriculture Minister Czeslaw Siekierski met with Mykola Solsky on March 27 to hold talks about Ukrainian agricultural export.
