President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that the Ukrainian government will be gladly received in Crimea, despite the fact that Russia has long worked with the Crimean people.
According to UA, this is stated in the material “Great expectations of Volodymyr Zelenskyy: an interview with the president on the return of Crimea”.
“Yes, the Russian Federation has been working with the Crimeans for a long time: passportization, TV, and people who came there. I remember from “Kvartal” – we were the only Ukrainian stars there. However, the locals still did not consider themselves Russians, saying that they were Crimeans. While Russian stars have always said: “It is very nice to be here, in Crimea” – said the President of Ukraine.
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, no mental changes are needed.
“Even those who are keen on Soviet times – they will still be happy. Because life will return to Crimea along with Ukraine” – the president is confident.
To remind, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that 44 states and organizations, 14 heads of state, governments, and the EU leadership would attend the first summit of the Crimea platform.
