CoronaVac vaccination starts in Ukraine

In Ukraine, in April 13, COVID vaccinations with the CoronaVac vaccine produced by Sinovac Biotech started in Ukraine. This was announced by the Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov during a briefing, reports UATV

“The Ministry of Health has completed all the processes of testing and laboratory control of the CoronaVac vaccine produced by Sinovac Biotech. The process of inoculation with this vaccine starts today”, the head of the Ministry of Health said.

The first batch of this vaccine, which arrived in Ukraine, amounted to 215 000 doses. The Ministry of Health expects the arrival of the rest of the contracted doses in the near future. According to Stepanov, Ukraine can receive other batches of vaccine during April-May this year.

The delivery of the Chinese vaccine CoronaVac to the regions has already begun in Ukraine.
