Russian military aircraft carry out 70–90 strikes on Ukraine every day, using between 200 and 300 guided bombs.

This was stated by General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during a televised interview with ICTV, according to UATV English.

“Every day they carry out 70–90 airstrikes—I’m referring to strike aircraft—and use between 200 and 300 guided bombs,” Syrskyi said.

He noted that no effective means of countering guided bombs have been found yet, and this remains a serious problem.

According to the commander-in-chief, the main way to counter them is to destroy the enemy’s air attack capabilities, that is, their aircraft.

“We cannot underestimate our enemy; that would be a huge mistake. The enemy is strong, and this is truly one of the strongest armies in the world—you can see its size and equipment,” Syrskyi noted.

As reported, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that in the Oleksandrivka direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have already liberated 480 square kilometers of territory.
