Bulgaria has included Ukraine into the “red” zone. Starting October 30, only persons with the status of permanent and long-term residents of the country and members of their families will be able to enter the territory of the republic.

UA reports this with reference to the page of the Embassy of Ukraine in Bulgaria on Facebook.

To enter the territory of Bulgaria, the above mentioned must present one of the following documents:

  • EU digital COVID certificate of vaccination or disease recovery proof;
  • a similar document with a negative PCR test for COVID-19, made 72 hours before entering the country and certified by a valid digital COVID-certificate of testing for COVID-19;
  • a similar document containing the same data as a valid EU digital test certificate for COVID-19.

Children aged 12 to 18 must also present:

  • a negative result of the PCR test for COVID-19, which was performed 72 hours before entering the country and certified by a valid digital COVID-certificate for testing for COVID-19;
  • a similar document containing the same data as a valid EU digital test certificate for COVID-19.

If they do not provide documents, they would have to undergo a 10-day quarantine.

“Children under the age of 12 are allowed to enter Bulgaria without providing COVID documents” – the embassy said.

To remind, starting October 25, Ukrainian citizens can enter Denmark without the requirement to take a coronavirus test before traveling, and they also do not need to isolate themselves upon arrival.
