On October 25 the Danish government withdrew the national color model, which grouped countries by coronavirus incidence, and the entry rules changed from that date.

The embassy of Ukraine in Denmark reported about it, UA informs.

Starting October 25, Ukrainian citizens can enter Denmark without being required to take a coronavirus test before traveling, and they do not need to isolate themselves upon arrival.

At the same time, an EU COVID certificate or equivalent must be presented for entry to the Danish border control authorities. The certificate issued by the Ukrainian Unified Public Services Portal “Diia” is also accepted, as Ukraine has joined the EU digital COVID-certificate system.

The certificate must confirm vaccination against coronavirus with one or two doses of the vaccine, a negative COVID-19 test result, or recovery from the disease.

In the absence of such a certificate, Ukrainian citizens must take the test within 24 hours of arriving in Denmark at one of the testing centers. The requirement to test for COVID-19 before arriving in Denmark has been abolished.

“If a citizen of Ukraine has previously been ill with COVID-19, but does not have a certificate, one must present a medical certificate confirming a positive PCR test for COVID-19, made not less than 14 days, but not more than year before entering Denmark. In this case, it is not necessary to take the test upon arrival in Denmark. If a Ukrainian citizen enters Denmark from countries that Denmark considers to be at very high risk of infection, full vaccination or recovery from COVID-19 must be confirmed. Otherwise, one must take the test immediately upon arrival in Denmark (at the airport) and isolate oneself for 10 days” – the statement said.

The Danish government reserves the right to quickly restore all restrictions in case of an emergency related to the emergence of new variants of coronavirus abroad, which may pose a risk to Denmark.
