Berlin reacts to Crimean trip of German MPs

The German government criticized local politicians from the party “Alternative for Germany”, who arrived in the occupied Crimea last week.

Ambassador of Ukraine in Germany Andriy Melnyk wrote about it on Twitter.

“The federal government of Germany criticized the visit of a group of local politicians from the AfD party to the occupied Crimea and confirmed the policy of non-recognition of the illegal annexation,” Melnyk stated.

To note, on February 3, German parliamentarians of three regional parliaments from the party “Alternative for Germany” arrived in Crimea.
