Ukraine participated for the first time at the International Charity Bazaar 2019 in the Republic of the Philippines.

Ukraine brought honey, chocolate, folk art items, Petrikivka paintings, and more, the Ukrainian Embassy in Malaysia stated.

The International Charity Bazaar, organized for the 53rd year in a row, is traditionally held in cooperation with the Philippines’ Department of Foreign Affairs, representatives of diplomatic and consular institutions in the republic, and the spouses of heads of accredited foreign missions in the republic.

This year Philippines residents and participants from 47 countries took part in Charity Bazaar.

“Sohom Charity Bazaar has opened its doors and once again invited Malaysian residents and visitors to visit the hospitality of 47 countries. This year the event was especially important for the Ukrainians, as the wife of Ukrainian Ambassador to Malaysia, Mrs.Triana Nechytaylo, is the president of the SOHOM association,” reads the report posted by the Ukrainian Cultural Association on Facebook.
