Russian Hybrid Forces Violate Minsk Agreements Again in Donbas

Over the past day, May 2, the situation in the area of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) remained tense.

Russian hybrid forces fired towards the positions of the Ukrainian military 22 times, using artillery and mortars that are banned by the Minsk Accords.

Ukrainian divisions maintained their defenses actively, however, three soliders were injured.

“Three Ukrainian soldiers were injured during the fighting. They were taken promptly to the hospital. Their condition is satisfactory,” the JFO’s press center reported.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, four militants have been wounded over the past day. Ukrainian soliders allowed them to be evacuated.

“During the early morning on May 3, it was relatively calm on the line of collision. As of 6 a.m. today, there are no losses of our soldiers, ” the JFO headquarters reported.
