Ukrainian security services claim to have arrested informants who collected and transmitted intelligence to the Self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s republic.
The authorities discovered mobile phones, sim cards, and other evidence that constitute enough suspicious elements, into the alleged informants’ house.
These men would be guilty of keeping the other side informed of the Ukrainian army’s movements, let it be personnel or military equipment.
This comes as information has become a commodity in today hybrid conflict with Russia and separatists’ forces. The suspected individuals will be further investigated, and will likely remain in police custody the meantime.
